Job summary

The Mann-Grandstaff VA Healthcare System is seeking a highly qualified Cardiologist to provide direct clinical care for Veterans and participate in interdisciplinary teams. The role includes managing cardiac conditions, performing tests, and contributing to education and research initiatives.

Required credentials include an MD/DO, full medical license, and fellowship in cardiovascular medicine with board eligibility or certification.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a school approved by VA.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
• Successful completion of cardiovascular fellowship approved by ABIM/AOA
• Board certification in cardiovascular medicine or eligible for certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to Veterans with cardiovascular disease.
• Perform and interpret advanced cardiac tests and procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage risk factors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families about lifestyle modifications and treatment options.
