Job Description

Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine’s Department of Cardiovascular Services seeks qualified noninvasive cardiologists to join its faculty. Marshall Cardiology is a close-knit, dependable community of physicians. We are a busy, growing practice, also hiring Cardiac Imaging Specialists, Structural Heart Specialists, and Advanced Heart Failure Specialists.

• Provider at one primary site, with rotation covering two hospitals and satellite locations
• No on-call schedule year-round; weekend rounds every 6th week with fellows
• Formal and informal teaching for 15 cardiology fellows
• Research opportunities in translational and biomedical sciences

This role combines clinical care with teaching cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students, and includes an appointment to the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine with ACGME-approved fellowship programs. Available for Assistant or Associate Professor, on a clinical or tenure track.

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent; completed an ACGME or AOA accredited cardiology fellowship
• Board certified or eligible in Cardiology
• Full, unrestricted West Virginia medical license at employment start
• Ability to perform all essential duties
• Level 2 or 3 Echocardiography
• Level 2 or 3 Nuclear Cardiology
