Schedule: Coverage

Specialty: General Cardiology

Requirements:

• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Request privilege and meet requirements to perform Transesophageal Echos (TEE)
• Perform TEE during Watchman procedures if needed
• Conscious Sedation privileges required for TEE
• Ability to read Echocardiograms

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM
• 1-2 Night calls per week
• 1 Weekend call per month

Dates:

• Starting Nov 7th
• Ongoing

Licensing and Certification:

• Must have current/active PA license
• Active PA DEA registration

Provider Details:

• Multiple providers accepted

Schedule Details:

• Hospital hours: M-F 8-4
• Clinic schedule: M-F and one weekend per month

Additional Information:

• Number of patients seen per day in clinic: No services in clinic by locum
• Call details: 1-2 nights per week (4 PM - 8 AM), weekends Friday 4 PM to Monday 8 AM
• Support staff: At least 3 PAs M-F, 1 PA on weekends
• Patient age: Mostly over 17
• Inpatient setting
• EMR system: Epic
• Board Certified required; Board Eligible not accepted
