Job description

Big Texas non-profit Health System seeks a General Cardiologist to work in the San Antonio, TX area!

The extensive package includes:

• Guarantee period with a rate of $57.60 per RVU when on productivity
• 100% paid malpractice insurance and tail coverage

Cardiologist Role:

• Monday to Friday schedule, 8 am to 5 pm, with half-day Fridays for administrative tasks
• Work at clinics in Westover Hills and Helotes; schedule may change as new cardiologists join
• Call responsibilities:
• Monday to Thursday, the cardiologist will handle ER call, rotating every 4th day; APPs assist with rounding but do not take call
• Weekend call rotation: approximately 1 in 4 weekends
• Current team includes 1 general cardiologist, 3 interventional cardiologists (with plans to add 2 more), 2 nurse practitioners, and 1 physician assistant (additional providers are being recruited)
• Recruiting an Electrophysiologist (EP)
