Ascension Seton is recruiting an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a growing, high-volume cardiovascular team at the only heart transplant center in Austin.
The Advanced Heart Failure program offers the full spectrum of care, including heart transplantation, LVAD, ECMO support, and advanced heart failure management.
Ascension Texas Cardiovascular provides comprehensive cardiac services across all major subspecialties, including interventional cardiology, structural heart, non-invasive imaging (CT/MR), electrophysiology, peripheral vascular disease, and heart failure/transplant care.
Physicians practice primarily across four hospitals in the Austin area, including Dell Seton Medical Center, the teaching hospital for the University of Texas.
Through collaboration with the University of Texas Dell Medical School, physicians have opportunities to participate in medical student, resident, and fellow education, as well as optional research activities.
The advanced heart failure team works closely with cardiology fellows during rotations in the CVICU and heart failure service.
Ascension Texas Cardiovascular is actively engaged in clinical research, with approximately 25–30 ongoing clinical trials and opportunities for physician involvement.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
