Cedarparktexasedc is searching for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Round Rock, Texas, to join a team of 45 cardiologists providing compassionate care to the community. This position offers a collaborative environment and the potential for academic affiliation with UT Dell Medical School.

Ascension Seton is looking for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our incredible team of cardiologists caring for our community.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Seton to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

• Established group of 45 Cardiologists including 5 Electro-physiologists
• Covering devises, ablations, lead extractions
• Possibility of academic affiliation with UT Dell Medical School

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
• Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
• Accept patient referrals from other physicians. Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.
• Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested.
• Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
