Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Cardiology Specialty 4H Patient Care Technician (PCT). You will assist patients with daily activities under the supervision of nursing and medical staff and support the cardiac care team.

Responsibilities include recording vital signs, collecting specimens, transporting patients, and documenting patient progress. Preferred CNA/PCT certification or enrollment in nursing school; BLS required within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.
• Preferred CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification; nursing school students welcome.
• Minimum of two years of experience in acute or long-term care preferred.
• Phlebotomy proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observe patients’ progress and report to RN or other medical staff.
• Obtain and record patients’ vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record intake/output and assist with range of motion as needed.
