Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Achieve Basic Life Support certification within six months of employment; maintain thereafter.
• Previous clinic job-related experience preferred.
• Must be capable of lifting and moving patients and standing/walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, maintain courteous professional demeanor.
• Handle intake, discharge, and telephone messaging tasks.
• Escort patients to screening areas and verify identity against records.
• Identify patient during transitions by stating name and date of birth for verification.
• Record patient weight, height, and vital signs in their chart.
• Educate patients on MyChart sign up and usage.
• Ensure patient comfort in exam rooms before leaving.
• Review discharge paperwork and confirm correct patient information.
• Discuss After Visit Summary with patient or caregiver.
• Clean and disinfect treatment areas and reusable equipment after each encounter.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining clinic supplies.
• Assist with ancillary tasks for casting, splinting, and DME.
• Perform quality controls as indicated within the clinic.
