Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS-C certification on hire or by end of orientation.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of related healthcare/office experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to the exam room with a welcoming environment.
• Check patients in and out, obtaining necessary documentation.
• Verify and enter demographic information.
• Obtain and verify insurance authorizations/precertification; process records release and scheduling.
• Enter and submit charges for procedures daily; collect co-payments.
• Reconcile daily reports and deposits; provide general clerical support.
