Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens support in Virginia. The role supports inpatient cardiology, working with an Interventional Cardiologist to manage new patients, follow-ups, rounding, and discharge planning. Start ASAP with day shifts and on-call coverage.

The candidate will perform documentation in Epic, with credentialing available soon. Requirements include board certification, BLS, ACLS, and VA licensure.

This facility is seeking Nurse Practitioner Cardiology for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 9/8/2026- weekly (Monday-Friday) - 7:30a-4:30p
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Types of Cases: willing to work independently along side an Interventional Cardiologist for inpatient care to manage new patients, follow up visits, rounding, documentation, discharge planning, and coordination of care.
• Credentialing Timeframe: As soon as possible - Emergency credentials available
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications Required: Board Certification, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Licensure Required:VA License
