Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in Charlotte, NC. Start date ASAP, 7 on / 7 off, with night 10p–8a or mid 2p–12a shifts. Strong cardio experience and EPIC EMR familiarity are expected.

Compensation ranges from $101.85 to $110.25 hourly, with malpractice insurance and travel/lodging coordination typically arranged by the agency. Credentialing takes 60–90 days.

Qualifications

• Cardiology NP or PA with active license.
• Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology coverage on locum tenens basis.
• Deliver direct patient care and coordination.
• Assist with credentialing and onboarding timelines.
