Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical and mental condition with exams and medical histories.
• Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes medications and other therapies; follows protocols.
• Develops and implements patient treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Counsels patients and families on medications, nutrition, and health management.
• Maintains records of treatment plans and outcomes; coordinates referrals.
• Performs procedures within scope of practice as delegated.
