University Health in Texas is seeking a Staff Nurse in Interventional Cardiology/Heart Failure to coordinate CHF outpatient care. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to promote quality nursing services and direct patient care.

Responsibilities include phone triage using physician protocols, staff orientation and training, and acting as a resource on CHF clinical issues. The role requires Texas RN licensure, BSN preferred, and a minimum of two years in cardiology; AHA CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in cardiology.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service and effective communication.
• CPR/BLS certification per American Heart Association guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate services for heart failure patients with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care and nurse lead in outpatient setting.
• Triage patient questions via physician protocols by phone.
• Train and orient clinical support staff.
• Educate patients as directed by the physician.
