Job summary

CardioOne, Inc. in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a Cardiology Registered Nurse to join Midwest Cardiovascular Institute (MCI).

You will work with cardiology teams to provide high-level care, perform visits, educate patients, and coordinate testing as part of a comprehensive cardiac program. The role requires IL RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS certification, with a focus on empathy, organization, and multitasking in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Current registration in the State of IL as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or ACLS certification.
• Cardiology experience required.
• Stress testing experience required.
• Some EP experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathetic and patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver care to our Cardiology patients.
• Conduct telephone triage.
• Conduct nursing visits with patients in clinic: Routine or Urgent visits.
• Educate patients and family members on cardiac symptoms, disease state, and medications.
• Ensure all applicable testing for cardiac patients are complete (per plan of care).
• Collaborate with external providers to ensure patient safety secondary to non-cardiac interventions.

What you’ll do:

Work Location:

You will work out of the Hinsdale office, 333 W Chestnut St., Suite 100, Hinsdale, IL 60521.

This position is Monday through Friday, 8AM-4:30PM.

Additional Information

Hourly rate starting at $34.00. The compensation will commensurate with experience. We offer medical, dental, and vision benefits along with a matching 401K.
