Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology team, supporting Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology. This role offers collaboration with an experienced APP team in a high-acuity specialty setting, with a Monday–Friday schedule and shared call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Cardiology experience preferred; however strong acute care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions in clinic and hospital settings.
• Support EP and Interventional services including arrhythmia management and post-procedure care (pacemakers, ablations, cath lab cases).
• Perform rounding, consultations and follow-up care; collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and care coordinators.
