Job summary

Henry Ford Health West Bloomfield Hospital is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology team. The APP will provide inpatient and/or outpatient cardiovascular care as a first-line provider, collaborating with attending physicians and the care team.

The position requires at least one year of cardiology experience as an APP. The role offers 40 hours per week, 7a-5p, with a weekday schedule and no weekends or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cardiology experience as an APP required.
• NP or PA graduate from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Michigan, or in process.
• National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA).
• BLS and ACLS required (or obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat cardiovascular conditions as a first-line provider.
• Provide inpatient and/or outpatient medical care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Perform procedures consistent with training and credentialing.
• Coordinate education and care with patients, families, and the team.
