Job summary

Ascension, a leading nonprofit Catholic health system, is hiring an NP/PA for The facility in Jacksonville, FL. This employed position works across inpatient and outpatient settings within a busy team of clinicians and a strong referral network.

You will diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions, perform comprehensive assessments, order tests, and deliver preventive care including immunizations, with support from a large network and resources of Ascension.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida NP licensure and Master's in Nursing.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from Florida Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervising physicians to diagnose, treat, and manage a spectrum of acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Deliver preventative health services including screenings and immunizations to manage patient wellness.
• Attend to inpatient and outpatient care within a busy health system setting.
