As the primary full-time cardiology APP serving the Omak community, this provider will play an important role in expanding access to specialty cardiovascular care close to home. The position offers significant independence while remaining connected to and supported by an established regional cardiology team and a comprehensive health system.

The Omak location is part of a large, integrated healthcare network serving communities throughout North Central Washington. The local campus provides a broad range of services, including cardiology and heart & vascular care, primary care, cancer care, medical imaging, laboratory services, orthopedics, pulmonary care, gastroenterology, nephrology, and other specialties.

Providers in Omak also benefit from access to the resources of a regional cardiovascular program offering advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including cardiac imaging, catheterization, electrophysiology, vascular services, cardiac surgery, and other specialty services.

Position Highlights

  • Four 10-hour shifts for an attractive four-day workweek

  • Significant clinical autonomy and ownership of the local cardiology practice

  • Opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and the community

  • Meaningful rural medicine with the ability to improve access to specialty care

  • Ongoing collaboration and support from cardiologists and the broader cardiovascular team

  • Resources and infrastructure of a well-established regional healthcare system

  • Broad multidisciplinary services available locally

Ideal Candidate

An experienced NP or PA with 3 5 years of cardiology experience; 5+ years preferred. The strongest candidate will be comfortable practicing with a high degree of independence while maintaining close collaboration with cardiologists and other specialists.

This opportunity is particularly well suited for a provider who values continuity of care, meaningful patient relationships, professional autonomy, and the lifestyle of a smaller rural community.
