Job summary

Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute in Saint Paul is seeking a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to join the heart failure practice in Saint Paul and Woodbury clinics. Monday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts, with one weekday off, no holidays, weekends, or on-call.

You will assess patients, diagnose and manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with the attending physician. Eligible candidates hold a Master’s NP/PA, Minnesota/NWI licenses, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accredited NP or PA program.
• Active MN & WI NP/PA license upon hire or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive patient assessments
• Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness
• Orders and interprets medical diagnostics in tandem with attending physician
• Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment
• Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care
