Join a Cardiology Group in a Tertiary Care Hospital

Seeking a Nonstructural Interventional Cardiologist with a focus on General Cardiology. Practice primarily coronary cases, with no requirement for peripheral vascular work.

Hospital and Service Area

Located in a 461-bed tertiary care level 2 trauma center with a state-of-the-art Heart and Vascular Institute. The service area has a population of approximately 1.5 million, with all cases referred to our main campus.

Current Cardiology Group

The group includes 10 Cardiologists: 6 Interventional and 4 Noninterventional. Some Interventional Cardiologists perform structural heart procedures, and a new structural heart candidate will join soon, increasing the group to 7 Interventional Cardiologists and 8 total once this position is filled. This addition will grow the group to 12 Cardiologists.

Florence, SC, is a growing midsized community with about 60,000 residents. It offers a safe, family-friendly environment close to beaches and major cities: Myrtle Beach (1 hour), Charleston (2 hours), Charlotte (2 hours), and Savannah (2 hours). The area provides excellent public and private schools and outdoor activities.

Position Details

The most important aspect is a candidate interested in primarily coronary work. The start date is anticipated for summer 2022.
