Position: Non-Invasive or Non-Interventional Cardiologist

Join a nationally recognized Heart Institute in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia

About the Group:

• Physician-led team with 45 physicians and 40 Advanced Practice Providers, covering 14 hospitals
• Support staff includes 35 personnel, with 11 APPs, 6 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, Vascular and Thoracic Surgeons

Practice Details:

• Onsite inpatient APP coverage: 2 APPs during the day, 1 in the evening; call is 1:4 but rarely required, mostly oversight of APPs
• State-of-the-art Cath Lab with 3 rooms, all GE and Phillips equipment, including coronary, heart, and procedure rooms; performs 5-6 studies daily
• Outpatient clinic with 20 exam rooms, including a remodeled, seasoned Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab site
• Lab services include stress tests, Echo, EKG, ECG, TEEs, CT, Nuclear, Holter Monitors, Pacemakers, and more

Compensation and Benefits:

• Group employment for 2 years, then Junior Partner with a base salary over $500,000
• After 2 years, become a Partner with earnings based on team wRVUs, currently over $650,000
• No wRVUs bonus structure; emphasis on team-based quality metrics with bonuses over $70,000 annually
• Full benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 403B with 6% employer match
• Sign-on bonus or student stipend ($50,000) and relocation assistance ($10,000)
• 7-9 weeks PTO based on tenure
• Visa sponsorship available
