Job summary

Banner Health's Cardiovascular Institute of North Colorado is seeking BC/BE Cardiovascular Electrophysiologists to join a growing team at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. The role involves EP procedures including pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs, SVT and AF ablations, with lead extraction preferred.

A strong commitment to building a comprehensive EP program is expected. The team is part of a larger, highly regarded cardiovascular group with advanced labs, including dedicated EP labs and mapping

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Cardiology EP.
• Experience in EP procedures including pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs, SVT ablation, AF ablation and VT/PVC ablation.
• Unrestricted DEA license.
• BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Perform EP procedures including ablations and device management.
• Cover outreach clinic once per month and participate in hospital-wide EP program.
• Promote and grow a comprehensive EP program.

Qualifications:

• ~5+ Years experience required, Cardiology experience preferred
• ~ Position will include Device Management (training will be provided)
• ~ Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• ~ BLS

Position Highlights:

• BC/BE Cardio EP to join 2 existing physicians in a group of 17 cardiologists.
• Call 1:4 weekends calls( light call covering the smaller hospital) , 1-2 week nights a month.
• Must be skilled in all aspects of EP procedures including pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs, SVT ablation, afib ablation and VT/PVC ablation.
• Proficiency in lead extractions preferred.
• Desire to promote and grow a comprehensive electrophysiology program.
• Open to new grads as well as experienced EPs.
• Cover outreach clinic 1/month.
• Our growing team of Cardiologists at the CARDIOVASCULAR INSTITUTE OF NORTH COLORADO , are located at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. We offer the most advanced cardiovascular services in the region. The Cardiovascular Institute has earned a rating in the top one percent of hospitals nationwide and the highest in Colorado for heart attack care (Total Benchmark Solution CMS Quality Management)

Services include:

• Two fully equipped dedicated cardiovascular cath labs
• Hybrid OR | Dedicated EP lab | Dedicated biplane EP lab, newly renovated
• St. Jude Medical and Carto Mapping systems available
• Cryoballoon system for afib/pvi ablations
• Practice performs latest complex interventions and structural work including TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman, lead extractions, and complex ablations
• Advanced heart failure clinic including LVAD management and a pulmonary hypertension service
• Advanced cardiac imaging program includes cardiac MRI, CT and 3D echocardiography

Banner Healths Compensation package includes:

• ~ Base Salary Guarantee - $850K for initial two years (years 3+ base salary = $700K plus value pay and wRVU incentive)
• ~$60,000 Sign-on/relocation
• ~$100,000 Loan Repayment
• ~ Paid malpractice
• ~ Paid CME
• ~401K retirement plan with 4% match after one year of service
