Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a medical billing office with emphasis on insurance research and claim follow-up.
• Certification as a Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Coder (CPC) from AAPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve all aging, denied, rejected claims thoroughly and promptly.
• Submit electronic and paper claims with correct documentation.
• Understand all EOBs and payer policies for responses to requests and inquiries.
