Job summary

Qualifications

• Optionally, completion of a Medical Assisting program, or military medic training, or EMT-P/paramedic certification, or prior physician-trained MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates efficient patient flow and prepares the patient for the visit.
• Performs administrative duties and EMR documentation.
• Maintains clinical environment and reports equipment issues.
• Communicates with patients and staff in a respectful, caring manner.
• Supports quality improvement and continuous learning for the department.
