Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Cardiology Group in Pensacola, FL is hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant to support the Cardiology department. You will welcome patients, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist providers with treatments as directed.

You’ll also handle medical records, calls, and charting to keep visits smooth and efficient. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within 30 days, plus 1 year of medical assistant experience

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interview patients, accurately measure vitals, and prepare examination rooms for visits.
• Assist providers with treatments under supervision.
• Manage patient records, answer calls, and complete charting.
