Job summary

Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley is hiring an entry-level Medical Assistant I (Non-Certified) to support cardiology providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The role focuses on exam room preparation, collecting patient information, and performing basic clinical duties under direct supervision.

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent.
Completion of Medical Assistant training program preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to learn and perform clinical tasks safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms and equipment per clinical protocols.
Escort patients to exam rooms; collect vital signs and basic history.
Document patient intake in the EHR.
Assist providers with routine, non-invasive procedures.
Maintain a clean, stocked clinical environment.
Greet patients and support a respectful care experience.
Provide basic patient instructions as directed.
Assist with patient flow and scheduling; support providers.
