Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide superior patient care in a clinic-based environment.
• Maintain and report all medical history and coding using EMR.
• Assist with patient visit support including greeting and taking vital signs.
• Sterilize and prepare medical instruments and ensure exam rooms are ready.
• Maintain inventory and stocking of supplies and paperwork for control.
• Address referrals and insurance authorizations effectively.

Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Education

Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program or three years of MA experience

Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
