Job summary

BJC Medical Group in Cardiology (BJC HealthCare) is seeking a full-time Non Reg Medical Assistant for our Wentzville location. The role supports outpatient cardiology care, with a 40-hour work week and day shifts, offering benefit eligibility and a no-call, no-weekends, no-holidays schedule.

Under supervision of a physician, you will obtain vitals, assist with exams, and perform selected clinical duties including phlebotomy and injections.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: CMA preferred.
• Certification: CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and accurate charting.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls and share test results with patients using proper medical terminology.
• Assist provider by preparing patients for exams, procedures and treatments.
