BJC Medical Group in Edwardsville, IL is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians in outpatient settings. The MA will take vitals, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections and ensure prompt charting in patient records, following practice protocols.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, triaging calls, and presenting results to providers with correct terminology. No weekends, no calls, and a 40-hour workweek are offered with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required by role.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains charting.
• Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls and communicates test results to providers with proper terminology.
