CHS Career Site is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Cardiology clinic in Longview, Texas. The role requires 0-2 years of clinical experience and involves direct patient care, medication administration, and diagnostic testing under supervision.

The LPN will maintain HIPAA compliance, assist with procedures, manage EMR documentation, and collaborate with providers to support patient care plans. On-site work with standard daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide direct patient care and monitor patient status.
• Strong written and verbal communication with patients and team.
• Experience with electronic medical records and charting.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and clinic safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, document symptoms, vitals, and medical history in the EMR.
• Administer medications via oral, inhalation, or injection routes and assist with procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic testing (EKG, basic labs) and document results.
• Respond to messages and test results to ensure timely follow-up.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care.
• Collaborate with providers to support patient care plans.
