Job summary

Aiken Physicians Alliance is seeking a licensed practical/vocational nurse to deliver nursing care under physician supervision. You will interview patients, measure vitals, perform venipuncture, prepare rooms, and assist at the front desk as needed.

You will administer treatments and medications, monitor progress, document in the EMR, and educate patients and families about health status and chronic conditions. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred, with an emphasis on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Completion of LPN/LVN nursing training from an accredited school.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Current state registered license for LPN/LVN.
• Minimum of one year working as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under physician direction and interview patients.
• Measure vital signs and perform venipuncture as directed.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist at front desk as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
• Document in EMR per IPM guidelines and coordinate with team.
• Educate patients and families on health status and management.
