Job summary

Canyon Vista Medical Group in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our Cardiology team on a full-time, days schedule. You will provide patient care, assist with plan of care, document care, and support both patients and families within a collaborative care model.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an LPN or LVN program.
• Must have an active Arizona or Compact LPN License.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must have BCLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
• May administer medication.
• Documents patient care given.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
