Practice Details

1. The group seeks to add a physician in its Cardiology Department which currently includes two interventional, three invasive (one specializing in EP), and one non-invasive cardiologists.
2. The Cardiologists rotate consult days with 3 days a week in the clinic and 1 day of hospital coverage per week.
3. They also rotate weekend call, approximately every 5th weekend.
4. On consult days, they serve as backup for the NP doing stress tests, reading all non-invasive testing, and performing non-invasive testing as needed.
5. The Cardiology Department is part of the Hospital Heart and Vascular Center, offering a full range of diagnostics and therapeutic heart services.
6. The ideal candidate will enjoy the full range of non-invasive cardiac services, participate in outreach services in outlying communities, and contribute to the leadership of the department and the cardiac program.
7. The cardiology providers moved into a newly constructed office space in February 2015.
8. The group aims to expand its Cardiology Department by adding physicians willing to do outreach and support the 'hub' at Blessing Hospital. Sub-specialty support is available in various fields. Diagnostic facilities include Lab, X-ray, 3T MRI, and extremity CT in the clinic building.
9. Board eligibility or certification is required if recently completed training.
