Job description

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join a well-established cardiology team in a picturesque California community. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and grow an Interventional Cardiology program in an area with significant community need.

Position Highlights:

• Join a collaborative team with a non-interventional cardiologist and two nurse practitioners.
• Brand-new, state-of-the-art Cath Lab designed for advanced interventional procedures.
• Help shape and grow the program while providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities Include:

• Cardiac catheterization, angiography, and percutaneous coronary intervention.
• Peripheral arterial interventions and intra-aortic balloon pump management.
• Echocardiography interpretation and stress test interpretation.
• EKG, holter monitor interpretations, and central venous line management.
• Temporary transvenous pacemaker placement and pericardiocentesis.
• Advanced procedural skills, including debulking devices (CSI atherectomy, rotablator, laser Angiojet).

Requirements:

• Fellowship-trained and Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Level 3 training in cardiac catheterization and intervention. Peripheral interventional training preferred but not required.
• Additional expertise in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasonography is highly desirable.
• Eligibility for California medical licensure.
• Prior experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $540,000 to $794,248 annually.
• Comprehensive benefits package.
