Job description

Position: Interventional Cardiologist

Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologist to join a well-established, hospital-employed Heart & Vascular practice.

Join 7 physicians and 5 Nurse Practitioners.

Compensation Options:

• Option 1: Base salary of $705,561 (50th percentile MGMA for recent graduates) with additional compensation for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Switch to a wRVU production contract when exceeding targets.
• Option 2: Base of $874,577 (75th percentile MGMA), guaranteed for one year, then switch to a wRVU production contract.

Work Schedule:

• Office hours: Monday - Thursday 8 am to 5 pm; Friday 8 am to 12 pm.
• Call schedule: 1:3 weekends, 1 night per week, STEMI call shared with two other Interventional Cardiologists. Opportunity to earn additional compensation through a Pay for Call program.

Case Load:

• Office: approximately 60 cases/week
• Inpatient rounding: 30-40 cases/week
• Cath lab: 12-14 cases/week

Equipment and Resources:

• Phillips ECHO systems, Phillips XPER Hemodynamics Cath Lab, Phillips Intellispace Cardiovascular, EECP Bed, EMR: Meditech Expance.

Benefits:

• Full benefits package including $10,000 for moving expenses, CME allowance, 457 deferred compensation plan, 403B retirement plan, paid malpractice insurance, health and other insurances, 232 hours PTO (additional 40 hours upon reaching 75th percentile RVUs), full health coverage, and more.

Additional Incentives:

• $200,000 in student loan debt assistance, residency stipend up to $25,000, and a sign-on bonus of 15% of base salary (up to $100,000).

Location:

1 hour from Huntington, WV; 2 hours from Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Charleston, WV; 2.5 hours from Lexington, KY.
