Job summary

Asheville Cardiology Associates is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join our general cardiology practice in Asheville, North Carolina.

The role is hybrid (inpatient/outpatient) with a mix of 12- and 10-hour shifts. The APP will split time between the office and hospital, performing admissions, discharges, consults and rounds on cardiology patients.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited PA/NP program with certification exams
• Current license with North Carolina Medical Board
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Cardiology APP experience preferred or cardiology rotations

Responsibilities

• Perform admissions, discharges, consults and general rounds on cardiology patients in the hospital
• Work autonomously seeing patients in the outpatient clinic setting
• Inpatient days are 12-hr shifts (7A–7P)
• Split days include inpatient AM; clinic PM (10-hr shifts 7A–5P)
• Outpatient days are 10-hr shifts (7A–5P)
• Inpatient coverage may include weekend shifts

Asheville Cardiology Associates (ACA) is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join our expanding general cardiology practice in Asheville, North Carolina.

Qualified Candidates

• Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams
• Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board
• BLS, ACLS certification required
• Cardiology APP experience preferred; and/or cardiology clinical rotations

• Schedule is a mix of 12 and 10 hr. shifts
