Job summary

Asheville Cardiology Associates, a partner of Mission Health, is seeking a Heart Failure Advanced Practice Provider for our expanding Advanced Heart Failure Therapies Program.

You will join a team of 2 HF Physicians, 2 HF APPs, 3 LVAD Coordinators and 2 dedicated clinic RNs. APPs run the HF discharge clinic; cardiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams.
• Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board.
• BLS, ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Run HF discharge clinic.
• Collaborate with HF physicians and LVAD team to provide comprehensive care.
• Deliver advanced heart failure management for inpatients and outpatients.

About Asheville Cardiology Associates

• Asheville Cardiology Associates is the largest cardiovascular diseases practice in western North Carolina with more than 35 cardiologists and 25 advanced practice providers who provide a full range of cardiac care including subspecialties of interventional (including structural heart disease), electrophysiology (including complex ablation), imaging (including dedicated cardiac MRI), general cardiology and advanced heart failure.
• The advanced heart failure therapies (AHFT) program has 2 advanced heart failure/transplant board certified cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient, imaging and invasive services.
