Job description

Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join an established Healthcare System.

What You Can Expect:

1. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; with hospital rotation 1:3
2. Saturday, 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (2 times per year to provide patient access)
3. Evening hours, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (2 times per year to provide patient access)
4. Weekend call: 1:6
5. Inpatient call coverage from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., one evening every 4-5 weeks; support of three cardiac hospitalists for night call from 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
6. Weekend call team consists of four physicians
7. Average clinic volume: 22 patients per day
8. Average inpatient volume: high volumes, with over 200 cases per year
9. State-of-the-art lab facilities
10. Procedures include: Permanent Pacemaker implants, Pacemaker Lead extractions, Leadless Pacemaker implants, ICD implants, Left Atrial Appendage Closure, and Ablations (Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT Cryoablation)
11. Convergent procedures in collaboration with cardiovascular surgeons
