Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health is seeking a candidate enrolled in an accredited Ultrasound/Cardiology program to perform imaging procedures and support cardiology care teams. You will work under the supervision of a registered Cardiac sonographer and contribute to treatment planning and documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, complying with hospital guidelines, and participating in Performance Improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: basic computer literacy and comfort with hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to Cardiology practice standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Works under the supervision of a registered Cardiac sonographer.
• Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements procedure/treatment plan using hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completes documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Participates in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care meets established standards.
• Completes assigned goals.
