Job summary

White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Registered Echo Technologist for our Cardiology Unit. The role supports patient care with echocardiograms for pediatric and adult patients.

You will perform studies to ICAEL and ACC/AHA standards, assist with stress tests and EKGs, ensure accurate charges, and participate in equipment maintenance. 40 hours weekly, day shifts, non-rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program preferred.
• 1 year scanning experience preferred.
• RDMS certification within one year of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms for pediatric and adult patients according to protocol.
• Examine heart to assess wall motion, valve function, chamber size, and abnormalities.
• Notify cardiologist of critical results.
• Assist with stress tests and EKGs as needed.
