Job summary

Stony Brook Community Medical, P seeks a Cardiac Sonographer with RDMS, RVT, RDCS credentials and at least 3 years of cardiac ultrasound experience. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Sonography program with RDMS, RVT, RDCS certification and BLS certification is required.
• A minimum of 3 years working experience in a hospital or physician office with cardiac experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures including venous/arterial dopplers, renal and abdominal ultrasounds.
• Produce, assess and evaluate ultrasound images and related data in outpatient settings.
• Interpret and communicate results of echocardiographic and vascular ultrasound exams to the physician.
