Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography program.
• NYS DOH approved two-year program.
• Certification in vascular Ultrasound Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) per protocols.
• Obtains 2D, M‑mode, color flow, pulsed-wave Doppler, and tissue Doppler images and measurements.
• Assists with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) procedures as assigned.
• Adjusts imaging techniques based on patient condition and diagnostic needs.
• Maintains infection-prevention practices and HIPAA compliance.
