Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Registered Echo Technician at Massena Hospital in Massena, NY. Per diem, days shifts, 8 hours, with 9am-5pm or 7am-3pm options. You will perform high quality echocardiography testing and assist the Cardiology Department in daily routines.

The role requires NYS-registered echosonographer and provides opportunity to mentor staff and participate in quality assurance activities within Medical Imaging.

Qualifications

• NYS registered echosonographer required.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care specializing in echo related studies.
• Responsible for comprehensive cardiology testing on an as needed basis.
• Maintain departmental records, assists with order entry, scanning and filing
• Serves as a resource person/mentor to non-registered staff assisting the department director to maintain a high quality of echo testing in cardiology.
• Assist Director of Cardiology Services in quality assurance assessment and improvement activities.
