Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, MN is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer for day shift on a 0.8-0.9 FTE basis. Starting pay ranges from $38.26 to $57.38 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic echo sonography such as transthoracic, transesophageal or stress tests when indicated
• Alerts nursing staff when contrast is needed and provides assessments for stress echocardiograms
• Collaborates with nursing, exercise physiologists, and cardiologists for direction and patient care needs
• Stocks rooms, orders supplies, and helps maintain imaging equipment
• Participates in daily huddles
• Participates in ongoing education and training
• Participates in departmental registry activities as needed
• Assists with accreditation activities within the department
• Provides echocardiography updates and education to staff
• Other duties as assigned
