Join our dynamic Cardiology team as a Cardiology Diagnostic Technician! This role combines administrative and clinical support responsibilities to help deliver exceptional patient care within a fast-paced cardiology environment.
Key responsibilities include scheduling patients, answering phones, troubleshooting remote bedside monitoring equipment, and assisting nurses with collecting and transmitting data from implanted cardiac devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and implantable loop recorders (ILRs). Upon obtaining CRAT certification, you will also interpret cardiac rhythms from implanted loop recorders and Holter monitors and support inpatient cardiac device monitoring.
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of cardiac rhythms, strong communication and organizational skills, and a desire to develop expertise in arrhythmia interpretation. This position involves both telephone and in-person patient interactions, making a patient-centered approach and excellent customer service skills essential.
