Job summary

Community Medical Center in Missoula, MT, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support a busy cardiology clinic. The role focuses on rooming patients, obtaining vitals, chart preparation, and accurate EHR documentation with a patient-centered approach.

You will assist providers, manage phone inquiries, and help maintain efficient clinic operations while upholding HIPAA and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant certification or completion of an MA program (or equivalent experience).
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to accurately obtain and document vital signs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients promptly and prepare them for their visit.
• Obtain and document vital signs (BP, HR, weight, SpO2).
• Review/update patient histories, medications, allergies, and reason for visit.
• Prepare charts before appointments and ensure accuracy in documentation.
