Job summary

Carolina Health Specialists seeks a Certified Medical Assistant with cardiology experience for a busy practice in Myrtle Beach. Monday–Thursday 7:45 am–5:15 pm and Friday 8:00 am–12:00 pm; no nights or weekends. Excellent pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsible for patient care under physician supervision, taking vitals, assisting with exams and procedures, and documenting in the medical record. May travel between offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification or Nursing license required upon hire.
• Experience in a cardiology setting preferred.
• Ability to travel between offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and weight.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Document activities in the medical record.
• Provide patient education materials and instructions.
• Maintain inventory and order medical supplies as needed.
• Stock and clean patient rooms and keep logs updated.
