Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team, providing patient care under the supervision of a medical provider and assisting with procedures, intake, and clinic operations.

The CMA will contribute to efficient patient flow, room preparation, documentation, and communication with patients and providers, while upholding quality care standards.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship program required.
• CMA-AAMA certification or NCMA certification required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures (vital signs, minor procedures, vaccines, phlebotomy).
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties and documents medical information.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties (pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, insurance verification).
• Maintains an organized workload and provides prompt, courteous service.
