Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Cardiology Clinic RN for the Park Cities Clinic. The role provides nursing care under supervision, assists physicians, and supports patient education and coordination of care.

Responsibilities include scheduling, medication administration, EMR documentation, and collaboration with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality cardiac care. Requires ADN, RN license in Texas, BLS; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• RN licensure in Texas upon hire and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing interventions aligned with the medical plan of care.
• Schedule tests and procedures; reinforce physician instructions.
• Educate patients and document responses in the medical record.
• Obtain necessary consents for research or treatment.
• Triages phone inquiries per protocols and document actions in records.
• Supervise licensed vocational nurses and other staff as needed.
• Proficient use of electronic medical records; support policy updates.
