Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Clinical Services Nurse II in Cardiology at Duke Cardiology Arringdon, Morrisville, NC. The role supports both clinical and administrative tasks, assisting physicians and coordinating patient care across multiple clinic settings.

The position requires a BSN, RN licensure in NC or compact, and BLS certification, with at least three years of RN experience. Clinic hours are Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with relocation assistance based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Three years RN experience or equivalent.
• Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinics with Heart Center staff and ensure patient records are prepared for MD review.
• Assist physicians with patient care and manage clerical tasks and tests/procedures as needed.
• Triage incoming calls, coordinate referrals, and handle prior authorizations.
• Perform other clinical functions as delegated by the physician.
